Nothing like a bit of sun to grab your favourite sandals and pop some colour on your toes. Painting your nails and giving yourself a mani/pedi at home is one of those things that makes you feel heaps better in a minimal amount of time. Plus it can all be managed in one nap time! This summer our team focus is on grabbing self care time when we can and our nails are one thing we are passionate about during the summer months when our toes are out on show! A splash of colour really can make an outfit!
Anna: Midnight Merlot by Jessica
Right now, I am wearing Midnight Merlot by Jessica. I love their nail varnishes – they last really well without chipping and are super glossy so you don’t need a top coat to get a nice high shine. I normally go for bright pinks and corals on the toes during the summer but for now, I’m in a classic mood!
(Oh and the Havianas…. Possibly the worlds most comfortable flip-flop!)
Michelle: Shellac Nails
Summer to me means flip flops!! I’m one who always has my nails painted, winter time it’s usually a deep purple/ brown shade but summertime I can be let loose and experiment. I am loving the look of the cnd shellac nail polish as I am wanting something that will last a little bit longer! I will book in for a summer manicure/pedicure with a local spa for a bit of a pre holiday treat!
Chelle: French manicure
My go to style is quite plain and i love the look of a french manicure. While I wont be avoiding colour this summer I do like a long lasting manicure and opting for a simple nail is easy for me. Obviously quality products are needed to make sure I’ve got great toes for minimal effort and a shellac colour is perfect because I know it will last while I am running around after the kids during the summer holidays.
So what will be going on your nails this summer? Are you opting for brights or something more adventurous?
