Bluebell Railway: Adventures On A Steam Train

Hidden near Lewes you will find the most gorgeous little space. I have wanted to go to the Bluebell Railway for a long time and so as a birthday treat my sister booked tickets for us to go.

She packed a picnic and off we went. Fizz really enjoyed the day too. We managed to get a private carriage to enjoy Bluebell fields and beautiful country spaces along the way. Drooling over a few beautiful houses. It was just nice to just watch and dream (and of course eat!).

You can get off the train at any stop (one stop had a toy fair on the weekend we went) or you can just stay on and enjoy the slower pace of life around you.

A lovely treat I’ve seen the sign to it many times as Nick’s Mum is close by, may be one year we will get to ride on it too. Great idea to take a picnic. Thank you for sharing on Country Kids
